Jesus said unto him, "Have I been so long time with you: and yet hast thou not known me? Philip, he that hath seen me, hath seen the father. And how sayest thou then, Show us the father?
His eyes shall see the king in his glory, and in the wide world;
and saw the God of Israel, and under his feet as it were a brick work of sapphire, and as it were the fashion of heaven when it is clear,
And Jacob called the name of the place Peniel, "for I have seen God face to face, and yet is my life reserved."
and said unto his wife, "We shall surely die, because we have seen God!"
I have given diligent ear unto thee, and now I see thee with mine eyes.
But mine eyes look unto thee, O LORD God; in thee is my trust. O cast not out my soul.
Then I said, "O woe is me! For I am lost: inasmuch as I am a man of unclean lips, and dwell among people that hath unclean lips also. For mine eyes have seen the King and LORD of Hosts."

O keep my soul, and deliver me; let me not be confounded, for I have put my trust in thee.
But mine eyes look unto thee, O LORD God; in thee is my trust. O cast not out my soul.
