Oppression » The oppressed
How blessed is the one whose helper is the God of Jacob, whose hope is in the Lord his God, the one who made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, who remains forever faithful, vindicates the oppressed, and gives food to the hungry. The Lord releases the imprisoned.
The Lord does what is fair, and executes justice for all the oppressed.
Consequently the Lord provides safety for the oppressed; he provides safety in times of trouble.

Consequently the Lord provides safety for the oppressed; he provides safety in times of trouble. Your loyal followers trust in you, for you, Lord, do not abandon those who seek your help.
For he will never be upended; others will always remember one who is just. He does not fear bad news. He is confident; he trusts in the Lord.
