He must take two mourning doves or two pigeons and come into Jehovah's presence at the entrance to the Tent of Meeting on the eighth day. He will give these birds to the priest. The priest will sacrifice one as an offering for sin and the other as a burnt offering. Thus in Jehovah's presence, the priest will pay compensation for the wrongdoing and make peace with Jehovah for the man who had a discharge.
