And David made him houses in the city of David, and prepared a place for the Ark of God, and pitched for it a tent.
But the Ark of God had David brought from Kiriathjearim, into the place he had prepared therefore - For he had pitched a tent for it at Jerusalem.
When they had brought in the Ark of God they set it in the tent that David had pitched for it. And they brought burnt sacrifice and peace offerings before God. And when David had made an end of offering of burnt offerings and of peace offerings, he blessed the people with the name of the LORD.
