These are they which are unclean to you among all that creep: whosoever doth touch them, when they are dead, shall be unclean until the even.

And he that eateth of the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even: he also that beareth the carcass of it shall wash his clothes, and be unclean until the even. And every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth is an abomination; it shall not be eaten. Whatsoever goeth upon the belly, and whatsoever goeth upon all fours, or whatsoever hath many feet, even all creeping things that creep upon the earth, them ye shall not eat; for they are an abomination. read more.
Ye shall not make yourselves abominable with any creeping thing that creepeth, neither shall ye make yourselves unclean with them, that ye should be defiled thereby.

and he beholdeth the heaven opened, and a certain vessel descending, as it were a great sheet, let down by four corners upon the earth: wherein were all manner of fourfooted beasts and creeping things of the earth and birds of the heaven. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten anything that is common and unclean.


Their wine is the poison of serpents, And the cruel venom of asps.

And I will make Jerusalem heaps, a dwelling-place of jackals; and I will make the cities of Judah a desolation, without inhabitant.

I am a brother to jackals, And a companion to ostriches.


Thou shalt tread upon the lion and adder: The young lion and the serpent shalt thou trample under foot.

He shall suck the poison of asps: The viper's tongue shall slay him.
