And going by they continued to blaspheme Him, wagging their heads, and saying, Thou that destroyest the temple, and buildest it in three days, save thyself: if thou art the Son of God, come down from the cross. He saved others; He is not able to save Himself: if He is the King of Israel, let Him now come down from the cross, and we will believe on Him. He trusted in God; let Him now deliver Him, if He wishes Him; for He said, I am the Son of God. And the thieves being crucified along with Him were also reproaching Him in the same manner.
