Of the men of Hebron, Hashabiah and his brothers, men of valor, a thousand and seven hundred, were officers among them of Israel on this side Jordan westward in all the business of Jehovah, and in the service of the king.
The ruler of the Levites was Hashabiah the son of Kemuel; over the Aaronites was Zadok.
