Then the devil took Him into the holy city, and had Him stand on the tip-top turret of the temple, and said to Him, "If you are God's Son, throw yourself down, for the Scripture says: "'He will give His angels directions about you, And they will bear you up on their hands, so you will never strike your foot against a stone.'"
Then he took Him to Jerusalem, and had Him stand on the tip-top turret of the temple, and said to Him, "If you are God's Son, throw yourself down from here, for the Scripture says, 'He will give His angels directions about you, to protect you,' and, 'They will bear you up on their hands, so that you will never strike your foot against a stone.'"
