Thematic Bible: The dropsy cured

One Sabbath, when He went to take a meal at the house of a Pharisee who was a member of the council, they continued to watch Him closely. Just in front of Him was a man who was suffering from dropsy. But they made no answer. So He took hold of the man and cured him and sent him away. Then He said to them, "Which of you, if his son or ox falls into a well, will not at once pull him out on the Sabbath?" But they could make no reply to this.
