And the fish that were in the river died, and the river became foul, and the Egyptians could not drink water from the river. And the blood was throughout all the land of Egypt.

And the waters shall fail from the sea, and the river shall be wasted and become dry. And the rivers shall become foul. The streams of Egypt shall be diminished and dried up. The reeds and flags shall wither away.


And the land of Egypt shall be a desolation and a waste. And they shall know that I am LORD. Because he has said, The river is mine, and I have made it,


And the fishermen shall lament, and all those who cast a hook into the Nile shall mourn, and those who spread nets upon the waters shall languish.


And on great waters the seed of the Shihor, the harvest of the Nile, was her revenue, and she was the mart of nations.


And the daughter of Pharaoh came down to bathe at the river, and her maidens walked along by the riverside. And she saw the ark among the reeds, and sent her handmaid to fetch it.
