And all who believed were together and had all things in common; and they sold their possessions and goods and distributed them to all, as anyone had need. And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they ate together with glad and sincere hearts,

Now the company of those who believed were of one heart and soul, and no one claimed that any of the things which he possessed was his own, but they had everything in common. And with great power the apostles gave their testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and great grace was upon them all. For there was not a needy person among them, For all who were owners of land or houses sold them and brought the proceeds of the sales read more.
and laid it at the apostles' feet, and it was distributed to each as any had need. Thus Josnt who was called by the apostles Barnabas (which means, Son of Encouragement), a Levite, a native of Cyprus, sold a field which he owned, and brought the money and laid it at the apostles' feet.
