And there shall come forth a rod out of the stem of Jesse, and a Branch shall grow out of his roots:
and speak unto him, saying, Thus spoke the LORD of the hosts, saying, Behold the man whose name is The BRANCH; and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the LORD.
Now I say that Christ Jesus, was a minister of the circumcision, by the truth of God, to confirm the promises made unto the fathers; but that the Gentiles glorify God by mercy; as it is written, For this cause I will confess thee among the Gentiles and sing unto thy name. And again he says, Rejoice, ye Gentiles, with his people. read more.
And again, Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all the peoples. And again, Isaiah says, There shall be a root of Jesse and he that shall rise to reign over the Gentiles; in him the Gentiles shall wait for salvation.
