For what is the hope of the profane, When He doth cut off? When God doth cast off his soul? His cry doth God hear, When distress cometh on him? On the Mighty doth he delight himself? Call God at all times?
'Doth a rush wise without mire? A reed increase without water? While it is in its budding -- uncropped, Even before any herb it withereth. So are the paths of all forgetting God, And the hope of the profane doth perish,
