Know this first, that in the last days, mockers will come with mockery, walking after their own lusts, Saying, Where is the promise of his coming? by which means the world that then was, being overflowed with water, perished. According to the same word, the heavens that now are, and the earth, are reserved for fire, being kept for the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men. Do not forget this one thing, beloved, that one day is with Jehovah as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day. (Psalm 90:1, 4)

He comes before Jehovah! Yes, he comes to judge the earth! He will judge the world with righteousness, and the people with His truth (fidelity) (faithfulness).
God overlooked the times of ignorance; but now he commands men everywhere to repent. He has established a day (time) in which he will judge the world in righteousness by the man [Jesus] whom he has ordained. Of that he gives proof of this to all men by raising him from the dead. Jesus answered: The time has come for the Son of man to be glorified. Truly I tell you unless a grain of wheat falls to the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies it bears much fruit. He that loves his life [in this world] loses it; and he that detests (does not love) his life in this world shall save it for everlasting life. read more.
If you want to serve me follow me! My servant will be where I am and the Father will honor my servant. I am troubled! What should I say? Father, save me out of this hour? It is for this purpose that I came to this hour! (Hebrews 5:7) Father, glorify your name. A voice came from heaven: I have both glorified it, and will glorify it again. The crowd near him only heard thunder. Some said an angel spoke to him. Jesus said: This voice came for your sake and not for mine. Now judgment is on this world. Now the ruler of this world will be cast out.
