Who has believed our report? And to whom has the arm of LORD been revealed? For he grew up before him as a tender plant, and as a root out of a dry ground. He has no form nor comeliness. And when we see him, there is no beauty that we should desire him. He was despised, and rejected by men, a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief. And as him from whom men hide their face he was despised, and we esteemed him not.

And having come into his fatherland he taught them in their synagogue, so as for them to be astonished, and say, From where is this wisdom and powers in this man? Is not this the carpenter's son? Is not his mother called Mary, and his brothers, James and Joses and Simon and Judas? And his sisters, are they not all near us? From where then are all these things in this man? read more.
