And he made ten lavers: and put five on the right hand and five on the left, to wash with all. And in them they thrust the flesh of the burnt offerings. But the sea was for the priests to wash in.
Then he made ten lavers of brass containing forty baths apiece, and they were of four cubits apiece, for every one of the bottoms a laver. And he put five of those bottoms on the right corner of the temple, and other five on the left: And put the sea on the right corner of the temple Eastward and toward the South. And the ten bottoms of brass with ten lavers upon them; and a sea with twelve oxen under it; and pots, shovels and basins. And all these vessels which Hiram made to king Solomon for the house of the LORD were of bright brass. And in the plain of Jordan did the king cast them: even in the clay of the earth between Succoth and Zarethan.
