Then Jesus stood still. "Call him," He said. So they called the blind man. "Cheer up," they said; "rise, he is calling you." The man flung away his outer garment, sprang to his feet, and came to Jesus. "What shall I do for you?" said Jesus. "Rabboni," replied the blind man, "let me recover my sight." "Go," said Jesus, "your faith has cured you." Instantly he regained his sight, and followed Him along the road.

No sooner were the words spoken than the man regained his sight and followed Jesus, giving glory to God; and all the people, seeing it, gave praise to God.


One of them, seeing that he was cured, came back, adoring and praising God in a loud voice, and he threw himself at the feet of Jesus, thanking Him. He was a Samaritan.


Then the father recollected that that was the time at which Jesus had said to him, "Your son has recovered," and he and his whole household became believers.


And He put His hands on her, and she immediately stood upright and began to give glory to God.


Instantly he stood up in their presence, took up the mattress on which he had been lying, and went away to his home, giving glory to God.


"Return home," He said, "and tell there all that God has done for you." So he went and published through the whole town all that Jesus had done for him.
