It was Mary Magdalene, Joanna, Mary the mother of James, and the other women with them, who told this to the apostles.
There were also women looking on from afar, among whom were Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James the younger and of Joses, and Salome,
Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses saw where he was laid. Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, so that they might go and anoint him.
