I was forty years old when Moses the servant of LORD sent me from Kadesh-barnea to spy out the land, and I brought him word again as it was in my heart.
And ye came near to me, all of you, and said, Let us send men before us, that they may search the land for us, and bring us word again of the way by which we must go up, and the cities to which we shall come.
And they took of the fruit of the land in their hands, and brought it down to us, and brought us word again, and said, It is a good land which LORD our God gives to us.
