And he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was hungry, and they who were with him? how they went into the house of God, and did eat the loaves of shew-bread, of which it was not lawful for him or those who were with him to eat, but for the priests alone?
And he said unto them, Have ye never read what David did, when he was under necessity, and was hungry, himself and they who were with him? How he entered into the house of God to Abiathar the high-priest; and did eat the shewbread, which it was not lawful for any to eat except the priests, and he gave also to those who were with him?
And Jesus answering said to them; Have ye never read what David did, when he was hungry, and those who were with him? how he entered into the house of God, and took the loaves of shew-bread, and did eat, and gave also to those who were with him; which it was not lawful for any to eat, but the priests alone?
