saying, Teacher, Moses said, If any man may die, not having children, his brother shall marry his wife, and raise up seed to his brother. But there were among us seven brothers: the first marrying died, and having no seed left his wife to his brother. Likewise also, the second, and third, even unto seven. read more.
And last of all the woman also died. Therefore in the resurrection, of which one of the seven shall she be the wife? for they all had her. and Jesus responding said to them, You err, not knowing the Scriptures, nor the power of God. For in the resurrection they neither marry nor are given in marriage, but they are as angels of God in heaven: concerning the resurrection of the dead, have you not read that which was spoken to you by God, saying, I am the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? God is not the God of the dead, but of the living.

And Jesus responding, said to them; Therefore do you not err, not knowing the Scriptures nor the power of God? For when they may rise from the dead, they neither marry nor are given in marriage; but they are as angels in the heavens. But concerning the dead, that they are raised, have you not read in the book of Moses at the Bush, how God spoke to him saying; I am the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob? He is not the God of the dead, but of the living. You do err much.
