And this is the condemnation: that light is come into the world, and the men have loved darkness more than light, because their deeds were evil. For every man that evil doeth, hateth the light: neither cometh to light, lest his deeds should be reproved. But he that doth truth, cometh to the light, that his deeds might be known, how that they are wrought in God."
but all things, when they are rebuked of the light, are manifest. For whatsoever is manifest, that same is light. Wherefore he saith, "Awake thou that sleepest, and stand up from death, and Christ shall give thee light."
