The Son of man will come at a time when you do not expect it. Who then is the faithful, thoughtful, and wise servant, whom his lord put in charge of his other servants, to give them their food at the proper time? That servant is blessed when his lord comes and finds him doing his will. I tell you, he will put him in charge of everything he owns. But if that evil servant says in his heart, 'My lord delays, so I will beat (mistreat) my fellow servants.' And he eats and drinks with drunkards, the master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect it, an hour when he is unaware. He will punish him severely, and send him to be with the hypocrites. There they will cry and grind their teeth.

He should not go down into the house to take his possessions. He that is in the field should likewise not return to the house. Remember Lot's wife! He who seeks to gain his life will lose it.
