for you are still carnal. For since there is jealousy and strife among you, are you not carnal, and are you not walking like mere men? For when one says, "I am of Paul," and another, "I am of Apollos," are you not mere men? What then is Apollos? And what is Paul? I planted, Apollos watered, but God was causing the growth. So neither he who plants nor he who waters is anything, but only God who gives the growth. Now he who plants and he who waters are one, and each will receive his own reward according to his own labor. For we are God's fellow workers; you are God's field, God's building.

But in the following instructions, I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it. For there must be factions among you in order that those who are genuine among you may be recognized. read more.
Therefore when you meet together, it is not the Lord's supper that you eat, for in eating, each one goes ahead with his own meal, and one is hungry and another is drunk.
