Whoever goes on and does not remain in the teaching of Christ, does not have God. He who remains in the teaching, the same has both the Father and the Son. If anyone comes to you, and does not bring this teaching, do not receive him into your house, and do not welcome him, for he who welcomes him participates in his evil works.
But to the wicked God says, "What right do you have to declare my statutes, that you have taken my covenant on your lips, seeing you hate instruction, and throw my words behind you? When you saw a thief, you consented with him, and have participated with adulterers.
