I tell you, though he will not get up and give to him because he is his friend, yet because of his persistence he will rise and give him as much as he needs.

For a while he refused; but afterward he said to himself, 'Though I neither fear God nor regard man, yet because this widow bothers me, I will give her justice, or she will wear me out by her continual coming.'" And the Lord said, "Hear what the unjust judge says. And will not God bring about justice for his elect, who cry to him day and night? Will he delay long over them?
