And the LORD said unto me, "Cast it unto the potter" - a goodly price for me to be valued at of them. And I took the thirty silver pens, and cast them to the potter in the house of the LORD.
Then when Judas, which betrayed him, saw that he was condemned, he repented himself; and brought again the thirty plates of silver to the chief priests and elders, saying, "I have sinned, betraying the innocent blood." And they said, "What is that to us? see thou to that." And he cast down the silver plates in the temple, and departed, and went and hung himself. read more.

And they took counsel, and bought with them a potter's field to bury strangers in. Wherefore that field is called the field of blood, until this day. To him beckoned Simon Peter that he should ask who it was of whom he spake. He then, as he leaned on Jesus' breast, said unto him, "Lord who is it?" Jesus answered, "He it is to whom I give a sop, when I have dipped it." And he wet a sop, and gave it to Judas Iscariot, Simon's son.
