For God is my witness, how I long for you all in bowels of Jesus Christ.

My little children, of whom I suffer birth pains again until Christ is formed in you.

nevertheless we became gentle in the midst of you, as a nurse cherishes her own children. Thus being desirous of you, we were pleased to impart to you, not only the good-news of God, but also our own souls, because ye have become beloved to us.

For this reason I bow my knees to the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ,

We give thanks to the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, always praying about you,

Because of this I also, having heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love for all the sanctified, I cease not expressing thanks for you, making remembrance of you in my prayers.
