8 Bible Verses about Affection, Of Paul For The Church

For God is my witness, how I long after you all in the tender mercies of Christ Jesus.

My little children, of whom I am again in travail until Christ be formed in you--

Besides those things that are without, there is that which presseth upon me daily, anxiety for all the churches.

If there is therefore any exhortation in Christ, if any consolation of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tender mercies and compassions, make full my joy, that ye be of the same mind, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind;

But we were gentle in the midst of you, as when a nurse cherisheth her own children: even so, being affectionately desirous of you, we were well pleased to impart unto you, not the gospel of God only, but also our own souls, because ye were become very dear to us.

For this cause I bow my knees unto the Father,

We give thanks to God the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, praying always for you,

For this cause I also, having heard of the faith in the Lord Jesus which is among you, and the love which ye show toward all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you, making mention of you in my prayers;
