Why is my pain perpetual, and my wound incurable, which refuseth to be healed? wilt thou be altogether to me as a liar, and as waters that fail?

And now my soul is poured out upon me; the days of affliction have taken hold upon me. My bones are pierced in me in the night season: and my sinews take no rest.

Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are agitated. My soul is also greatly disquieted: but thou, O LORD, how long?

For my loins are filled with a lothsome disease: and there is no soundness in my flesh.

But I am poor and sorrowful: let thy salvation, O God, set me up on high.
