"Simon, Simon, pay attention! Satan has demanded to have you all, to sift you like wheat,

I know that after I am gone fierce wolves will come in among you, not sparing the flock.

For there will be a time when people will not tolerate sound teaching. Instead, following their own desires, they will accumulate teachers for themselves, because they have an insatiable curiosity to hear new things.

Consequently a Sabbath rest remains for the people of God. For the one who enters God's rest has also rested from his works, just as God did from his own works. Thus we must make every effort to enter that rest, so that no one may fall by following the same pattern of disobedience.
