8 Bible Verses about Apostles, Identfication

If to others I am not an apostle, at least I am to you; for you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.

For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the one we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough. I think that I am not in the least inferior to these super-apostles.

I have been a fool! You forced me to it, for I ought to have been commended by you. For I was not in the least inferior to these super-apostles, even though I am nothing.

Are we beginning to commend ourselves again? Or do we need, as some do, letters of recommendation to you, or from you? You yourselves are our letter, written in our hearts, known and read by all men. The signs of a true apostle were performed among you in all perseverance, with signs and wonders and mighty works.

Then they went out and preached everywhere, and the Lord worked with them and confirmed the word by the signs that accompanied it. Amen.
