13 Bible Verses about Are The Dead Raised?

And they did not forget what he said, but discussed with one another what he meant by the rising from the dead.

On the same day some Sadducees came up to him, claiming that there is no resurrection, and they asked him this question:

Then some of the Sadducees, who say that there is no resurrection, came up and asked him,

For the Sadducees hold that there is no resurrection and that there are no angels or spirits, while the Pharisees believe in all three.

Why do you all think it incredible that God should raise the dead?

When they heard of the resurrection of the dead, some of them sneered, but others said, "We should like to hear you again on this subject."

If there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ was not raised,

For if the dead are never raised, Christ was not raised;

Now if what we preach about Christ is that he was raised from the dead, how can some of you say that there is no such thing as a resurrection of the dead?

and we are found guilty of misrepresenting God, for we have testified that he raised Christ, when he did not do it, if it is true that the dead are never raised.

Otherwise, what do people mean by having themselves baptized on behalf of their dead? If the dead do not rise at all, why do they have themselves baptized on their behalf?

From the human point of view, what good is it to me that I have fought wild animals here in Ephesus? If the dead do not rise at all, "Let us eat and drink, for we will be dead tomorrow!"
