Come to the waters, all ye that be thirsty, and ye that have no money. Come buy, that ye may have to eat. Come buy wine and milk, without any money, or money worth.

Labour for to get the truth, sell not away wisdom, nurture and understanding;

I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich: and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, that thy filthy nakedness do not appear: and anoint thine eyes with eye salve, that thou mayest see.

She cannot be gotten for the most fine gold, neither may the price of her be bought with any money.

Then said Peter unto him, "Thy money perish with thee, because thou wenest that the gift of God may be obtained with money.
