4 Bible Verses about Caring For The Sick

"'I was naked, and you clothed me; I was sick, and you visited me; I was in prison, and you came to see me.'

Is any one of you in trouble? Let him pray. Is any in good spirits? Let him sing unto his harp. Is any one of you ill? Let him send for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, after anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will restore the sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, it will be forgiven him.

For the whole Law has been fulfilled in this one precept, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself.

But whoever has this world's goods, and beholds his brother in need, and shuts up his heart against him, how can the love of God continue to abide in him?
