4 Bible Verses about Caring For The Sick

naked, and ye clothed me; I was sick, and ye visited me; I was in prison, and ye came to me.

Is any among you afflicted? let him pray. Is any cheerful? let him sing praise. Is any sick among you? let him call to him the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up; even if he have committed sins, it shall be forgiven him.

For the whole Law is fulfilled in one commandment, even in this "Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

But whoever hath this worlds goods, and seeth his brother having need, and shutteth up his compassion from him, how dwelleth the love of God in him?
