senseless, faithless, without natural affection, without pity;

natural affection, implacable, slanderers, incontinent, fierce, without love for what is good,

But I have this against thee, that thou hast left thy first love.

as he also saith in Hosea, "I will call that my people, which was not my people; and her beloved, that was not beloved.

And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and though I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, and have not love, I am nothing.
