And when Jesus came into Peter's house, he saw his wife's mother lying sick with a fever. So he touched her hand, and the fever left her. She got up and served him.

Now Simon's wife's mother lay sick with a fever, and immediately they told him about her. And he came and took her by the hand, and raised her up. The fever left her, and she served them.

He rose up from the synagogue, and entered into Simon's house. Simon's mother-in-law was afflicted with a great fever, and they begged him for her. He stood over her, and rebuked the fever; and it left her. Immediately she rose up and served them.

As they went out from Jericho, a great crowd followed him. And just then two blind men sitting by the road, when they heard that Jesus was passing by, shouted, "Lord, have mercy on us, son of David." Jesus stood still, and called them, and asked, "What do you want me to do for you?" They told him, "Lord, that our eyes may be opened." Jesus, being moved with compassion, touched their eyes; and immediately their eyes received their sight, and they followed him.

They came to Jericho. As he went out from Jericho, with his disciples and a great crowd, Bartimaeus, the son of Timaeus, a blind beggar, was sitting by the road. When he heard that it was Jesus the Nazarene, he began to cry out, and say, "Jesus, Son of David, have mercy on me." Jesus stood still, and said, "Call him." They called the blind man, saying to him, "Cheer up. Get up. He is calling you." He, casting away his cloak, jumped up, and came to Jesus. Jesus asked him, "What do you want me to do for you?" The blind man said to him, "Rabboni, that I may see again." Jesus said to him, "Go your way. Your faith has made you well." And immediately he received his sight, and followed him on the road.

Standing still, Jesus commanded him to be brought to him. When he had come near, he asked him, "What do you want me to do?" He said, "Lord, that I may see again." Jesus said to him, "Receive your sight. Your faith has healed you." And immediately he received his sight, and followed him, glorifying God. All the people, when they saw it, praised God.

By faith in his name, his name has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which is through him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.
