For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh condemnation to himself, not distinguishing the Lord's body.
And he said to him, Out of thine own mouth will I judge thee, thou wicked servant. Thou knewest that I am an austere man, taking up what I laid not down, and reaping what I did not sow;
But we know that the judgment of God is according to truth, against those who practise such things.
For thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest those who do such things, and doest the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?
By faith Noah, being divinely warned respecting things not yet seen, filled with reverential awe, prepared an ark for the salvation of his household, by which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith.
For if the ministry of condemnation is glory, much more doth the ministry of righteousness excel in glory.
And the gift [is] not as for one who sinned: for the judgment indeed [came] by one to condemnation, but the free gift [leads] to justification from many offences.
Well then, as by the offence of one, [judgment issued] against all men unto condemnation; so also by the righteousness of one, [the gift came] to all men for justification unto life.
For that which was impossible by the law, inasmuch as it was impotent through the flesh, God having sent his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in that flesh:
