But Paul did not think proper to take him with them, who left them in Pamphylia, and went not with them to the work. And there was a sharp dispute, so that they separated from each other; and Barnabas took Mark and sailed to Cyprus: but Paul chose Silas and departed,

For I have been informed concerning you, my brethren, by some of Chloe's family, that there are contentions among you. I mean, that each of you saith, as if of different parties, I am of Paul, and I of Apollos, I of Cephas, and I of Christ. Is Christ divided? was Paul crucified for you? or were ye baptized into the name of Paul?

But if ye bite and devour one another, take heed that ye be not destroyed by one another.
