Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.

His enemies will I clothe with shame; But upon himself shall his crown flourish.

And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.

Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honor, And didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he subjected all things unto him, he left nothing that is not subject to him. But now we see not yet all things subjected to him. But we behold him who hath been made a little lower than the angels, even Jesus, because of the suffering of death crowned with glory and honor, that by the grace of God he should taste of death for every man .

And if also a man contend in the games, he is not crowned, except he have contended lawfully.

Wherefore, my brethren beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my beloved.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?

And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
