Thou shalt also be a crown of beauty in the hand of Jehovah, and a royal diadem in the hand of thy God.
His enemies will I clothe with shame; But upon himself shall his crown flourish.
And his eyes are a flame of fire, and upon his head are many diadems; and he hath a name written which no one knoweth but he himself.
Thou madest him a little lower than the angels; Thou crownedst him with glory and honor, And didst set him over the works of thy hands: Thou didst put all things in subjection under his feet. And if also a man contend in the games, he is not crowned, except he have contended lawfully.

For what is our hope, or joy, or crown of glorying? Are not even ye, before our Lord Jesus at his coming?
And every man that striveth in the games exerciseth self-control in all things. Now they do it to receive a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible.
