And the devil who deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where are both the beast and the false prophet; and they shall be tormented day and night for the ages of ages.

For if God spared not the angels who had sinned, but having cast them down to the deepest pit of gloom has delivered them to chains of darkness to be kept for judgment;

And angels who had not kept their own original state, but had abandoned their own dwelling, he keeps in eternal chains under gloomy darkness, to the judgment of the great day;

And behold, they cried out, saying, What have we to do with thee, Son of God? hast thou come here before the time to torment us?

and the demons besought him, saying, If thou cast us out, send us away into the herd of swine.

And Jesus asked him saying, What is thy name? And he said, Legion: for many demons had entered into him. And they besought him that he would not command them to go away into the bottomless pit.
