Genesis 3:13

Then Yahweh God said to the woman, "What [is] this you have done?" And the woman said, "The serpent deceived me, and I ate."

Genesis 3:1-6

Now the serpent was more crafty than any other {wild animal} which Yahweh God had made. He said to the woman, "Did God indeed say, 'You shall not eat from any tree in the garden'?" The woman said to the serpent, "From the fruit of the trees of the garden we may eat, but from the tree that is in the midst of the garden, God said, 'You shall not eat from it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die'."read more.

For God knows that on the day you [both] eat from it, then your eyes will be opened and you [both] shall be like gods, knowing good and evil." And she gave [it] also to her husband with her, and he ate.

Matthew 4:1-11

Then Jesus was led up into the wilderness by the Spirit to be tempted by the devil, and [after he] had fasted forty days and forty nights, then he was hungry. And the tempter approached [and] said to him, "If you are the Son of God, order that these stones become bread."read more.
But he answered [and] said, "It is written, 'Man will not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes out of the mouth of God." Then the devil took him to the holy city and placed him on the highest point of the temple and said to him, "If you are the Son of God, throw yourself down! Jesus said to him, "On the other hand it is written, 'You are not to put the Lord your God to the test.'" Again the devil took him to a very high mountain and showed him all the kingdoms of the world and their glory, and he said to him, "I will give to you all these things, if you will fall down [and] worship me." Then Jesus said to him, "Go away, Satan, for it is written, 'You shall worship the Lord your God and serve only him.'" Then the devil left him, and behold, angels came and began ministering to him.

Mark 1:12-13

And immediately the Spirit drove him out into the wilderness. And he was in the wilderness forty days being tempted by Satan. And he was with the wild animals, and the angels were ministering to him.

Luke 4:1-13

And Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness forty days, being tempted by the devil. And Jesus answered [and] said to him, "It is said, 'You are not to put to the test the Lord your God.'" And [when] the devil had completed every temptation, he departed from him until a favorable time.

John 8:38

I speak [the things] that I have seen with the Father; so also you do [the things] that you have heard from the Father."

Mark 7:21-22

Galatians 5:17-21

For the flesh desires against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh, for these are in opposition to one another, so that whatever you want, you may not do these [things].
