Better is a dinner of vegetables where love is than a fatted calf and hatred therewith.

And it came to pass, as he sat at food in his house, behold, many publicans and sinners that had come sat down at the table with Jesus and his disciples. And they set food before him to eat, but he said, I will not eat until I have told my errand. And he said unto him, Speak on.

But they constrained him, saying, Abide with us, for it is toward evening, and the day is far spent. And he went in to tarry with them.

There they made him a supper; and Martha served, but Lazarus was one of those that sat at the table with him.

And when Joseph saw Benjamin with them, he said to the ruler of his house, Bring these men home and slay an animal and make ready; for these men shall dine with me at noon.
