Jesus knew their thoughts and said to them, "Every kingdom divided against itself is laid waste, and every city or house divided against itself will not stand.

so that there may be no division in the body, but that the members may have the same care for one another.

But in the following instructions, I do not praise you, because you come together not for the better but for the worse. For, in the first place, when you come together as a church, I hear that there are divisions among you; and I partly believe it.

I am astonished that you are so quickly deserting him who called you by the grace of Christ and turning to a different gospel which is really not another gospel; but there are some who are disturbing you, and want to pervert the gospel of Christ. But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we preached to you, let him be accursed!read more.
