For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men who suppress the truth in unrighteousness,

but from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat from it you will surely die.” Then the Lord God said, “It is not good for the man to be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him.”

Then He will speak to them in His anger
And terrify them in His fury, saying,

O God, You have rejected us. You have broken us;
You have been angry; O, restore us.

Yes, truth is lacking;
And he who turns aside from evil makes himself a prey.
Now the Lord saw,
And it was displeasing in His sight that there was no justice.

“The Lord was very angry with your fathers.

But I am very angry with the nations who are at ease; for while I was only a little angry, they furthered the disaster.”

But when Jesus saw this, He was indignant and said to them, “Permit the children to come to Me; do not hinder them; for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these.
