Isaiah 42:3-4

A bruised reed He will not break, and a dimly burning wick He will not quench; He will bring forth justice in truth. Hebrews 12:3

Just think of Him Who endured from sinners such grievous opposition and bitter hostility against Himself [reckon up and consider it all in comparison with your trials], so that you may not grow weary or exhausted, losing heart and relaxing and fainting in your minds.

Romans 5:3-4

Moreover [let us also be full of joy now!] let us exult and triumph in our troubles and rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that pressure and affliction and hardship produce patient and unswerving endurance.
