Now every house is built by some one: but he that built all things is God.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven, against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who detain the truth in unrighteousness. For what is to be known of God, is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it to them. For those things of him which are invisible, both his eternal power and Godhead, are clearly seen from the creation of the world, being understood by the things which are made, so that they are without excuse:

For when the Gentiles, who have not the law, do by nature the things contained in the law, these not having the law, are a law to themselves; Who shew the work of the law written upon their hearts, their conscience also bearing witness, and their thoughts among themselves accusing or even defending them, In the day when God will judge the secrets of men by Christ Jesus, according to my gospel.

Being then the offspring of God, we ought not to think the Godhead is like gold or silver, or stone, graven by art and contrivance of man.
