But Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, Go to thine house, and to thy friends, and tell them how great things the Lord hath done for thee, and hath had compassion on thee. And he went out, and began to publish in Decapolis, what great things Jesus had done for him: and all men marvelled.
Return to thy house, and declare what things God hath done for thee. And he went away, and published through the whole city what things Jesus had done for him.
Then the woman left her pitcher, and went into the city, and said to the men, Come with me; behold a man, who told me all things that I ever did: is not this the Messiah?
Do you not consider, nor remember the five loaves among the five thousand, and how many baskets ye took up? Nor the seven loaves among the four thousand, and how many baskets ye took up?
Having eyes, do ye not see? and having ears, do ye not hear? and do ye not remember? When I broke the five loaves among the five thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They say unto him, Twelve. And when the seven loaves among the four thousand, how many baskets full of fragments took ye up? They said, Seven.
