With the ancient is wisdom; and in length of days understanding.

And Elihu the son of Barachel the Buzite answered and said, I am young, and ye are very old; wherefore I was afraid, and durst not show you my opinion. I said, Days should speak, and multitude of years should teach wisdom.

Even as I have seen, they that plow iniquity, and sow wickedness, reap the same. By the blast of God they perish, and by the breath of his nostrils are they consumed.

Whoever is wise, and will observe these things, even they shall understand the loving-kindness of the LORD.

And patience, experience; and experience, hope:

Thou wilt show me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand are pleasures for evermore.

Then I commended mirth, because a man hath no better thing under the sun, than to eat, and to drink, and to be merry: for that shall abide with him of his labor the days of his life, which God giveth him under the sun.
